Ford returns to F1: Introducing Ford UK employees to the world of F1

Red Bull Powertrains and Ford have partnered to develop and supply engines to the Oracle Red Bull Racing and Visa CashApp RB teams from 2026. 

We need to introduce Ford’s UK employees to the world of F1 and Oracle Red Bull Racing. The cars don’t hit the track until 2026 but the partnership has begun, so let's start getting people engaged. How can we introduce and get our workforce excited about the partnership?

Ignition Collective

You need more than a standard employee engagement event. This marks the start of long-term teamwork between Ford and Oracle Red Bull Racing. Let’s treat the event as an introduction to F1 for Ford employees to create a buzz. F1 is vast, and the opportunities to maximise the partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing are endless. 

Oracle Red Bull Racing haven’t hosted a watch party at MK-7 before, so we can make it our own and kick start a series of watch parties for the first time. 

We’ll run an event for Ford employees to watch the British Grand Prix at the home of Oracle Red Bull Racing in their dedicated event space, MK-7 in Milton Keynes. When we say event, we mean:

  • Host up to seventy Ford employees and their guests (140 total)​
  • Experience the race action at the home of Oracle Red Bull Racing whilst surrounded by the team's historic race cars
  • Presentations from senior members of the Oracle Red Bull Racing team, giving insights into the world of F1
  • Live link to the Oracle Red Bull Racing team garage before the Grand Prix
  • A welcome message from Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal, Christian Horner
  • Tour of the Oracle Red Bull Racing trophy room and factory
  • Simulator and Batak challenges throughout the day
  • Lunch and drinks
  • Gift bags with Oracle Red Bull Racing merchandise

We’ll manage everything - from the initial comms for the competition to the departures at the end of the day. We know events. We know motorsport. We’ll deliver, and it’ll be fun.

The result?

Over 1000 Ford employees applied for tickets to attend the event. There was 100% attendance on the day, with guests giving feedback such as:

“I wanted to thank you for a fabulous event and experience on Sunday. My guest and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.” 

“I’d like to thank you again for a great day out had by myself & my son. We had a great time, and your hosting was so welcoming.” 

“I just wanted to send over a quick email thanking you and all the team for an incredible day yesterday! I loved every minute and cannot thank you enough for such a special event. I would love to be kept in the loop for any future events, and of course, if there’s ever any way I could help out or get involved, I’d be more than happy!” 

“I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity to go to Red Bull Racing yesterday. We really enjoyed the event, and the gift bag was very generous. I’m sure other employees would enjoy it if you plan to run another time.” 

Ford employees voluntarily posted about the event on their social media channels. 

Oracle Red Bull Racing now runs in-house watch parties at MK-7 using the format Ignition Collective created for the Ford employee event.
